About the Role
The branch you will be working in within the department develops, maintains and supports the agency's critical identity, authentication and authorization applications. The teams are delivering on Australia's digital initiatives as well as whole of government relationship and authorization solutions. The team has a suite of technologies, such as .NET/SQL, Java, cryptographic software (such as Certificate Authorities and bouncy castle) as well as new generation technologies like Angular and .Net Core. We utilize some of the latest hosting technologies available including use of containers and managed database services.

 
Core Skills Required
  • Been a qualified IRAP assessor at some point in the last five years
  • Have experience with identity, authentication and authorization systems
  • Have a good understanding of enterprise level security practices
  • Is an expert in the areas of IT security audit, security governance, risk, compliance and assurance
  • Has broad knowledge and understanding of IT applications security, information architecture concepts and Australian Government ISM and PSPF
  • Can identify and recommend security system improvements, including managing major change programmes and associated contracts
  • Experience with PKI based systems.
