We are currently looking for a ICT Security and Risk Manager for a contract until the 24.06.2018 with an optional 12 month extension. The engagement sits with a large government department based in Chermside, Brisbane. You must be an Australian Citizen to be eligible to apply. The IT Security and Risk Manger will serve as the liaison between the departments eCommerce Service Delivery team and internal IT Security teams.

  • The RM should possess knowledge about practices in information technology, accountable to coordinate and undertake detailed, complex security and risk evaluation, technical or sensitive operational and administrative work that impacts on the IT operations for the department and the external Digital Service Providers (DSPs). 
  • The IT Risk Manager will help create and encourage a consistent IT Risk and Assurance Model across eCSD. The purpose of this role is to provide oversight and a consistent approach to the IT Security Operation Framework, in relation to the DSPs that the department is looking at on boarding. 
  • They may also be required to produce high- level IT technical, operational and procedural security advice, engaging in complex problem solving and issues management focusing on the security aspects from a DSP perspective. 
  • The Risk Manager will work in the Software Developer On-boarding team within the Enterprise Solutions and Technology business line. They will be responsible for ensuring that identified DSPs are appropriately evaluated from a security and risk aspect to align their development and deployment plans with the department's IT security and risk strategy. The Risk Manager will assist and be a point of contact for internal teams and the Relationship Managers in the Onboarding Team. 
  • The Risk Manager should understand the complexity of DSP accounts; understand the DPSs business, their direction and challenges. They are to help the DSP's Relationship Managers navigate the complex risk assessment for the DSPs and the services they wish to consume.
  • Must be Australian Citizen.
  • Must be able to demonstrate previous experience in a ICT Security and Risk management role.
