We have received an urgent request from our large enterprise client for an experienced Service Desk Support Analyst to join their team based in the CBD. The role will be for an initial 3 month contract. The successful candidate will require an excellent telephone manner and ideally have worked within a mining environment.
 
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Be the 1st point of contact for phone calls and e-mails from internal staff and clients regarding IT issues.
  • Take ownership of user problems, by logging calls through to resolution.
  • 1st and 2nd line desk support - troubleshooting IT problems.
  • Knowledge of Windows 7 - 10 and Office 2010 - 2016.
  • Experience in supporting Office 365.
 
Skill required:
  • Minimum 2 years experience working within a service desk environment.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of mining related software packages.
  • Basic user and security group active directory administration
