Senior JavaScript Developer - 1st Engineering hire! - Work with a man who built Atlassian! (Amongst others)

What's happening?

This start up - award winning (Start up of the year 2014), highly profitable, rapidly growing and founded by industry guru's who happen to be extremely nice people. They have created a platform for users to make informed decisions based on intel from the cream of industry experts. The next steps in their process? Elevating their platform to the next level and cementing their brand as the next big innovators.

What do they do?
They have a highly engaged user base on one side, and Industry specialists offering insight on the other.. Excited by industry defining digital applications? Expert developing in JavaScript?  As their primary resource in web development you'll be deeply involved in how they shape their future.

Who are you?
They're a start up first and foremost, that has to excite you otherwise it won't work. Product development needs to be your favourite thing to do, JavaScript needs to be your favourite language to build in. Delivering scalable code and developing future proofed applications has to be a huge part of what you've done and what you want to continue doing. Web technologies, API's, relational databases and computer science concepts (data-structures, algorithms etc) are part and parcel of what makes you great.

What does your tech stack look like?
JAVASCRIPT / HTML / CSS /  - Makes sense right, they've built a web app, and an awesome one at that.
Ruby on Rails - The back end was built on a Ruby bed, if you know how that works then super! Don't be put off if you don't though :)
Experience in a start up environment would be brilliant. Agency would be great. Smaller, reactive team environments would be good too.

Their culture is amazing, their infrastructure is solid, their finances are secure, their product is game changing, their offer is exceptional. Not to mention the fact that they have an Atlassian legend on their board as tech advisory, how good is that?

If this sounds as good as I think it does get in touch, with your Githubs / Bitbuckets et al, and a copy of your resume.
