The opportunity: Lead Network Engineer/Architect
 
We currently have an opportunity for an experienced network architect to join our Network team based in Canberra. This is a client facing role and the successful candidate will be required to design, implement and optimize infrastructure systems to enable and support a diversified client base.



Role Responsibilities:
  • Drives network infrastructure strategy and overall network design, defines scope and deliverables for projects. 
  • Able to apply specialized knowledge in a systems infrastructure discipline to conceptualize, design, construct, test, implement and optimize infrastructure systems that enable and support business and/or engineering functions.
  • Integrate technical knowledge and business understanding to create superior solutions.
  • Mentor/consult with team members, other organizations, customers, and vendors on complex issues.
  • Incident Management: Resolve technical and business incidents independently. Mentor/assist less-experienced team members on complex incidents.
  • Escalation Management: Identify, manage, and lead escalations 
  • Change Management: Independently review and verify changes/solutions of high complexity and risk to meet customer needs. 
  • Lead or participate in a Change Advisory  Board or Technical Advisory Board.
