Talent International is working in partnership with a large government organisation to assist in sourcing an experienced Lead Solution Architect responsible for leading the development of the organisation architecture, design and strategy.

 Responsibilities include
  •  Lead the organisation architecture strategy and Integrated Care Programs by assimilating inputs from plans, business and non-functional requirements from business, information management, regulatory, policy, technical, operations and other stakeholders to develop 'fit for propose' enterprise and solution architectures and strategies.
  • Participate in the development, delivery and evolution and Integrated Care architecture, including the facilitation of workshops and development of architectural artefacts and specifications.
  • Participate in groups and represent projects Strategy and Architecture forums, groups and committees promoting and aligning the organisation enterprise architecture.
  • Exercise authoritative technical judgments and participate in contract negotiations to support high-level consultation in relation to architectural aspects of procured solutions ensuring that agreements include all negotiated business, technical and architecture and associated requirements.
  • Provide expert specialised advice on architecture and standards evaluation and the procurement of strategic solutions to ensure vendor solutions aligns.
  • Develop specifications that include non-functional and functional descriptions of the requirements, use cases, business processes and integration models through to enterprise and solution architectures.
Experience Required
  •  Extensive demonstrated experience as a Solution Architect with high level experience in Business management, integration, operation and technical architecture development; including relevant qualifications or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the health ICT environment, and a good understanding of clinical information system concepts
  • Proven experience in development of strategic direction and solution architecture for large organisations with reference to relevant ICT methodologies and frameworks, such as TOGAF.
  • Proven ability to monitor, govern and provide quality assurance of major solutions and their architecture across the project lifecycle including the ability to elaborate on stakeholders requirements and develop solution architectures.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and relationship management skills with the ability to motivate and influence stakeholders to share ownership of the solution, its architecture and design, as well as its strategic direction.
  • Proven ability to lead, manage and participate in architecture and design workshops across a broad range of stakeholders
