Our client is a highly regarded financial institution based in Brisbane's CBD. As part of their Loan Centre team we are looking for a highly experienced Customer Service Representative to join the business on an initial 6 month contract.

Working as part of a wider team consisting of 40 people, the Customer Service Representative will assist with the end-to-end loan processing of commercial and retail loan's. This position fits within the Settlements team, so any experience within this field would be highly desirable.

You will be required to manage your own files in a prompt and efficient manner so as to ensure settlements occur and that all post settlement actions are complete in an orderly manner. By doing so you will ensure that the overall goals of the business are achieved.

In this position your key responsibilities will include;
  • Complete compliance checks of all finance contracts returned for settlement ensuring all documentation received is completed correctly and executed accurately, including payment details
  • Maintain accurate records, reports and controls via the completion of checklists, registers and reports
  • Adhering to deadlines and ensure that details processed are accurate and compliant.
  • Provide support to your dedicated colleagues and suggest alternatives to the way that we do business.
  • Maintaining an accurate database for reporting purposes;
  • Completing an audit of settlements against original documents
Your background skills and experience will include:
  • Experience in banking, finance, loans processing, settlements or in other similar high volume business process oriented positions
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Commitment and dedication to your role with a good track record of attendance
  • Problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong general computer skills and the ability to rapidly learn new systems.
