Talent International are currently supporting the Rural Fire Service in order to successfully recruit a Manager Enterprise Architecture, on a permanent basis, based from their head office, at Sydney Olympic Park, NSW.

This is rare opportunity to join a leading NSW State Government department at the leadership level; and a fantastic opening in a growing and highly strategic ICT function, where the successful candidate will have influence and decision making ability at the executive level.

The NSW Rural Fire Service (NSW RFS) is the world's largest volunteer-based fire service. The NSW RFS plays a key coordinating and strategic role in the overall planning and management of fire prevention, protection and suppression in NSW.

The Role:

The Manager Enterprise Architecture will be responsible for building a holistic view of the organisation's ICT strategy, processes, information & information technology assets; so that the business and ICT are aligned and linked to corporate level planning and organisational objectives.

Key accountabilities for this role will include: -

* Develop ICT architectures and standards that support the implementation of the organisation ICT strategy.
* Provide high-level strategic advice for the future investment of ICT systems and processes.
* Integrate ICT strategy with corporate level planning & reporting.
* Continually analyse business processes relating to Business & Enterprise Architecture and make recommendations for change where required.
* Leadership of a team of architects and management of collaborative relationships with corporate level stakeholders.

The Candidate:

To be successful in this role, you must be able to clearly demonstrate the following: -

* Demonstrated experience operating at the Enterprise level within a complex ICT environment.
* Proven capability to build, manage and engage with stakeholders at the corporate level, as well as leading project teams.
* Experience of overseeing the successful delivery of enterprise wide architecture strategies.
* Strong leadership ability.
* Integration architecture experience in a project based environment would be highly desirable.
