Our client is a household name in Australia and are present in close to 30 countries with over 8,000 employees. Due to a recent exciting change in strategy there is now an opportunity for a seasoned sales manager to come and build out a new sales function and team. This will be a highly visible role, with approximately 50 million in revenue under management across 600 customers this is seen as a critical role in the business and will also have a dotted line into Enterprise sales, as such we are looking for someone who has experience running a variety of teams within a matrix style organisation.

Responsibilities:
  • Managing and running an inside sales team.
  • Driving high sales activity across a team of 8-10 reps.
  • Work cross-functionally across numerous departments and team.
  • Support team members' creation and achievement of personal and professional goals.
  • Communicate effectively to develop, coach and motivate the sales team.
  • Drive a positive customer experience to support sales growth.
  • Drive performance and build a high performing inside sales culture.
  • Hire and retail top sales talent.
  • Drive growth across Mobile, Data, Fixed Carriage, Mobile, ICT, products and maintenance
Requirements:
  • Between 3-5 years' experience managing an inside sales team.
  • Between 3-5 years' selling into mid-market organisations (defined as between 150-500 seats)
  • Demonstrable record of regularly achieving/exceeding targets.
  • Track record of performing well in a highly autonomous role, you do not require day to day management.
  • A can do attitude and comfort with a "fail fast and learn fast' approach to work.
  • Proven ability to work across many departments, sometimes across competing interests whilst keeping everyone happy.
  • Experience with RAIN methodology (ideal but not required).
  • Tertiary qualifications in a business and/or technology discipline (ideal but not required).
