A large Government client of Talent's requires the services of multiple Projecty Managers to be responsible for the planning, developing, implementing and maintaining of business critical server, network and communications infrastructure for the department. Our client has a program of work to upgrade and refresh infrastructure within server infrastructure, monitoring, data protection of network systems.

The successfull candidates will have a proven record of IT infrastructure projects in Federal Government environments. The ideal candidates will have extensive understanding of Project Management methodologies and frameworks including PRINCE2, Agile and PMBOK.
 
  • Australian citizenship essential - Must hold NV2 and NV1 security clearance

Experience required:
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent ICT infrastructure projects within agreed time, cost, and quality expectations.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce accurately written documentation for a non-technical audience including: Project Initiation Documents, Project Plan's, Schedules developed within Microsoft Project, Communications Plans and Impact Assessments.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage risks, issues and dependencies including developing and managing appropriate registers, communicating clearly with management on risks and issues and developing effective 'return to green' strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability in managing projects within tight budgets, including accurate forecasting and budget reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain clear and concise reporting to all project stakeholders including senior executive.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop a strong rapport within a project team and foster productive relationships to achieve project outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability working with cross-functional teams such as architecture sections, cyber security, change management, test and release and acceptance into service to ensure project outcomes receive acceptance from all stakeholder groups.
