Our Client

The Role

The Network and Security Architect will report into Director Architecture and Cyber Security and be responsible to lead, manage and develop the Network and Security Architecture capability and deliver a secure IT environment across the corporate Network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and communicate the technology strategy in terms of DELWP architectural principles
  • Provide authoritative Network Architecture advice to the Director of Architecture and senior stakeholders
  • Working with the Information Security Manager and Architects, lead the development of business/project solution designs
  • Ensure documented standards and requirements are met by service providers.
  • To be an advocate within the business and can effectively communicate Network and Security direction to key business stakeholders
Key Skills:
  • Extensive experience as a Network Architect in an Enterprise environment
  • Strong experience working in Information Security Management
  • Security certifications will be highly regarded, for example Cisco Internetwork Expert (CCIE), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
  • Experience and knowledge of Cloud based technologies (AWS and Azure) would be beneficial
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and a consultative approach
  • Previous Government experience would be beneficial
