Our exclusive client is Australia's most trusted and largest privately owned builder and operator of FTTP Networks. They are specializing in the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) network solutions for new residential and business developments.

The NOC Technician is responsible for shift operations of the Network Operations Center (NOC). This center provides network management services to their customers and required 7/24/365. 

What will you be doing:
  • Monitor Network Management System (Centreon) and all Element Management systems (Huawei, DASAN)
  • Managing alerts/trouble tickets to ensure that service levels are being met.
  • Provide excellent customer service while corresponding with customers via telephone and email.
  • Follow detailed instructions to perform advanced network break/fix functions.
  • Maintain the data integrity of the Operational Support Systems used to maintain the configuration and relationships of network assets.
What do you need to have to success:
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in GPON,  IP and MPLS based networks.
  • Experience troubleshooting Enterprise-level Switches and firewalls
  • Experience with UNIX-like operating systems.
  • Great communication skills.
