Talent International is currently looking for an Operational Lead / Analyst for Air Services Australia based on the Brisbane Northside. This is an initial 6-9 months contract opportunity at business case stage and will extend for an additional 15 months pending approval 

You will be the Operational Lead on the Airport-Collaoration Decision Making (A-CDM) program of work, which is a concept that improves operational efficiency at airports by reducing delays, improving predictability of events during the progress of a flight and optimising the utilisation of resources and infrastructure. It involves partners working together and making decisions based on more accurate and higher quality. A-CDM has been deployed at a number of airports globally, each with slightly different features and scope. However, the consistent theme for each implementation is the realisation of efficiency benefits. The scope of implementation includes information exchange, procedures and business rules required to operate A-CDM, as well as supporting infrastructure.

This role will represent and facilitate all operational aspects of the A-CDM program, including Airservices, airports, airlines/aircraft operators, ground handlers, and other stakeholders.

The duties of this role include, but are not limited to:
  • Developing and implementing the A-CDM Operating Model in consultation with Airservices and
  • A-CDM partner stakeholders. This includes the business processes, business rules and performance measures.
  • Defining operational scenarios to enable the acquisition of the A-CDM Information Sharing
  • platform (ACISP), Surface Manager and Departure Manager capability.
  • Working with the supplier of the ACISP to ensure the system meets all operational
  • requirements. This includes confirming requirements and validating the configured system meets these requirements.
  • Contributing to implementation and ongoing management of the A-CDM Governance
  • Framework to ensure appropriate agreements and governance arrangements are in place between all A-CDM stakeholders.
  • Extensive knowledge of ATC procedures, preferably in a Tower and/or TCU environment.
  • Knowledge of airline and airport operations.
  • Detailed understanding of end-to-end ATFM processes including Metron Harmony operations from both an airline and ATC perspective.
  • Understanding of Airservices operating environment, including the broader context in which
  • Airservices operates (i.e. our customer and stakeholder base and their interactions).
