We are currently looking for an Organisational Change Manager for a large government department for a 4-5 month engagement based in the Brisbane CBD. This role is required to develop business transition strategies and plans appropriate for the scope of work associated with a business application transition project, which involves moving to a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) cloud solution. 

Using a consultative approach to engage internal stakeholders and working collaboratively with the ICT Project Manager you will take responsibility for:
  • Complete the identification, development and implementation of business change approaches including stakeholder engagement, training plans and communication plans to ensure successful business transition.
  • Development and execution of quality targeted training, based on a training needs analysis that will aid in the transition of the new solution into the business.
  • Collaborate with the business stakeholders in preparation and testing of training material.
  • Advising leaders about the change process, helping drive the acceptance of change within all areas of Council.
  • Managing and executing all communication and change management deliverables for the Project Online project. 
  • Communication that focuses on change intervention to inform, educate and engage stakeholders by delivering pro-active and reactive communications. Communication will also play a key role in facilitating effective team work within the project and with key stakeholders.
  • Managing the communication and change activities in order to provide the project and stakeholders with key messages, tools and tactics that are consistent, clear, accessible and accurate; delivered through appropriate channels.
  • Implement business transition activities according to the plan and ensure post implementation support is available for users.
  • Work with the Project Online team and the ICT Business Transition Manager to ensure strategies and activities are consistent with Council's values.
  • Demonstrated experience in organisational change, communication and training in the implementation of ICT projects.
  • Ability to diagnose and analyse change management issues and develop and implement effective interventions.
  • Experience and knowledge of change management processes and activities to support a successful project outcome.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing change and communication strategies, plans, tactics, processes and techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare presentations and facilitate positive discussion with stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence and work effectively with stakeholders. 
  • Strong ability to engage and build effective relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Training analysis skills to support the development of web based training that meets or exceeds stakeholder expectations.
  • Facilitation skills to effectively lead groups and seek strong engagement through workshop activities and coaching.
  • Knowledge of ITIL (Desirable)
