The Company
My client is a global leading cloud software vendor of secure collaboration solutions with extensive growth plans in Australia. Currently providing solutions to the SMB all the way through to Enterprise sectors, the business has enjoyed exponential growth over the past five years with revenue doubling in the past 24 months alone.

Specialising in secure collaboration, file sharing and enterprise content management solutions they are now looking to tackle the APAC market with the view to use ANZ as a launch-pad to mimic their unrivalled success overseas.  
The Role 
You will be an integral member of a regional sales team consisting of a Sales Manager, Commercial and Enterprise Sales Executives. You will play a supportive function to all levels of the sales organisation by uncovering new revenue opportunities that add to the overall pipeline. You will be tasked with building meaningful relationships at the executive level of existing as well as potential future customers.

You will also be tasked with mapping out target accounts and conducting market research to ensure your team are well positioned to win business from competitors. You will have the opportunity to up sell and cross sell with key product offerings and further develop your existing sales skills.

You are a vivacious hunter - enthusiastic and motivated to exceed targets and surpass expectations. Strong sales acumen is a must with a good business discipline. You will have strong interpersonal skills - both face to face over the phone, be able to multi task and be computer literate. 

Quick thinking, resilience and a relentless work ethic are key skills for success in this role. Above all else you like to have fun, after all what is the point in building a business if you can't have a laugh or two along the way?
  • Achieve or exceed monthly targets defined as qualified opportunities and closed business
  • Conduct high level conversations with senior executives in both target and prospect accounts
  • Work alongside sales management, regional directors and individual contributors to develop targeted lists, call strategies and messaging to drive new business opportunities
  • Follow up on qualified inbound leads at both small and mid-sized businesses
  • Develop relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders to build new business
  • Create, priorities, and qualify strategic target account lists within a defined territory
  • Research and build new and existing accounts (i.e. adding/maintaining contact records, sending regular emails, coordinating strategic discovery meetings, etc.)
  • Evangelise Cloud Content Management using the solution
  • Prospecting and account development experience
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding defined quotas
  • CRM experience is a must, Salesforce CRM is advantageous
  • Outstanding communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to think on your feet and make decisions quickly
  • A clear passion for people
  • Previous experience working in a fast paced, team environment where time management and organisational skills are crucial for success
  • Tertiary level education with experience in a B2B sales environment or minimum 2+ years' experience in a similar position within the SaaS landscape
  • Full 360 degree agency recruitment consultants in the IT/Software space with a tertiary degree will also be considered
