An urgent requirement for a Payroll Lead to work for a not-for-profit organisation in a permanent role. Based in the Lilydale office with occasional travel to their Dandenong office, you will be working in the People & Culture Department in an established team. This role is a new position to assist with the transformation and transferring of thier payroll to a new system. You will handle payroll transferring a group of staff, liaise with the payroll provider, and handle payroll queries and generate reports from the payroll system to meet the reporting requirements / KPIs under the secondment deed.

Initially, you will be working on projects to assist in the urgent transformation. Once this is complete, the ongoing work will be BAU payroll activities.

To apply for this excellent opportunity you will need the following skills and experience:
  • Previous experience in a payroll processing/management experience
  • Strong knowledge of award and EBA interpretation
  • Excellent MS Excel and MS Office products
  • Experience working in high volume payroll with a complex, shift worker employee base
  • An eye for details with an ability to identify trends and errors
  • The capacity to work autonomously and manage stakeholders
  • Any previous experience working for a not-for-profit would be a benefit
  • Experience with payroll systems - ADP and Kronos would be highly advantageous
  • Experience dealing with outsourced payroll providers is preferred
  • Be an Australian Citizen or an Australian Permanent Resident 
  • Be able to start at short notice is preferred
