Pega 7 Developer (Agile and Scrum)
  • Initial contract until end of financial year with a strong view to extend
  • Rates: $850 per day all inclusive
  • Sydney CBD location
Applicants are invited for the role of Pega Developer for a Government client based in CBD.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work within an Agile project team to design, build and implement business solutions using Pega 7
  • Development of high quality, robust Pega 7 solutions that meet business expectations
  • Document design, solutions, data flows, procedures and other technical information as directed
  • Collaborate in a team environment to share knowledge and learning
  • Perform peer review and analysis 
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • 3 - 5 years of hands on development experience using Pega PRPC
  • Solid experience in Pega IAC/Web Mashup, Decision rules, Case designer, Connector, Service, UI Forms, Harness, Portals and Skin
  • Full PRPC implementation cycle including enterprise Class Structure design and Rulesets design
  • Experience in Pega integration using SOAP or REST
  • Experience in debugging using Tracer, Clipboard, SMA, PAL, PegaLogs, Server logs, Rules Inspector, AES
  • Agile experience, working on Agile projects, preferably using Scrum
  • Exposure to a variety to technologies, including object-oriented techniques/principles, database design, application & web servers
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • A proactive and team oriented professional.
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Pega CSA and CSSA highly desirable
  • Candidate must have tertiary qualifications, computing industry/business qualifications or substantial equivalent experience in the information technology industry. 
Selection Criteria
  1. Extensive experience and ability to work in an Agile team to deliver high-quality Pega solutions in a responsive manner
  2. Extensive experience developing software using Pega PRPC
  3. The ability to write technical design documents
  4. A team player with excellent communication skills, especially when working collaboratively in an Agile team with BA's and testers to agree on User stories, acceptance criteria and automated tests.
  5. This is a collaborative team environment but candidates are expected to take ownership and work autonomously as required.
