Our client and role: 

Our client an industry leading WA based organisation are seeking the skills and experience of a PMO Coordinator to join the team on a long term contract assignment. Key requirements of the role will include supporting the PMO in the coordination and management of multiple portfolios of work. Day to day tasks will include coordinating and managing vendors for contract administration/raising PO's/RFQ's as well as the financial reporting and management of invoice services. 

Requirements of the role: 
  • Assist the Manager PMO in the reporting and management of projects to the agreed timeframes and costs.
  • Organising invoice set up and administration using Oracle Financials. 
  • Management of monthly project costing in the timekeeping system and its interface to the department's finance system.
  • Assist the Manager PMO on the sourcing and management of contractors and casual staff.
  • Development and implementation of ICT business process to enhance the existing services provided by the PMO.
  • General administration tasks. 
  • Resolution and management of issues raised by ICT management and ICT projects.
  • Compliance management of ICT projects to ICT methodologies, ICT standards and procedures.
  • Development of ICT sourcing documents to the agreed timeframes.
  • The reconciliation of ICT budgets and costs against ICT business systems.
Essential requirements:
  • Commercial experience as a PMO Coordinator/Cost Controller using Oracle Financials.
  • Experience in the extraction of financial information and ICT cost reporting and reconciliation;
  • Good experience in coordinating and administering invoices.
  • Procurement activities, such as managing vendors, sending out RFQ's
  • Understanding of ICT project development methodologies and standards;
  • Experience in Government procurement processes and the development of required procurement documents;
  • Strong analysis and interpersonal skills;
  • Broad background with Timesheet Management.
  • Commercial experience in Financial Management using Oracle Financials System;
  • Experience with Records Management
