This role is responsible for the establishment and ongoing management of the Student Management Services, Program Office. This includes the implementation of planning, management, review and controls for master schedule, resourcing, risk and issues and quality and executing a program of works containing multiple complex projects relating to the procurement, implementation of a new Student Management and as required related ERP systems
 
Key Accountabilities:
  • Develop, implement and oversee assigned program activities, ensuring outcomes are achieved through effective program office planning, reporting, monitoring, management PCB and PMO reporting, risk and issue reporting and quality assurance framework.
  • Monitor and report on staff wellbeing, and coordinate with HR for design and management of staff at risk.
  • Assist Program Director and Corporate Finance with regular review and analysis of program budgets, implementation of payment controls against contracts and work orders.
  • Implement Quality framework to ensure that the stated deliverables, outcomes and requirements of the Program and Service Providers are delivered and carried out to the highest standard of quality, efficiency, effectiveness, on time and to budget.
Key Criteria:
  • Must have strong communication & writing skills
  • Experience in the successful Program office management and delivery of complex ICT programs or transitions with appropriate certifications (PRINCE2/LEAN) and/or equivalent experience.
  • Proven ability to think, analyse and consider the broader context to successfully deliver practical solutions within ambiguous environments.
  • Comprehensive management skills and experience in strategic leadership, people and financial management skills to ensure the effective use of resources  and  for  leading  staff  in  the  achievement  of  objectives  and conflicting priorities.
