We are currently looking for a Principal Business Analyst for an engagement with a large government department based on the Sunshine Coast

The role:
  • As a Principal Business Analyst, your role is to work with the existing Business Analysts and Test Analysts to ensure effective requirements management across the delivery lifecycle, identify key gaps, and help shape future capability.
  • You may also be assigned to business analysis activities across the project portfolio to support peak resourcing demand periods, including enabling capabilities such as data analytics, identity management and clinical support capabilities.
  • In collaboration with the key stakeholders, plan and deliver business and information analysis on budget and in accordance with project program.
  • Apply appropriate information modelling and data modelling methodologies.
  • Lead and work collaboratively with a wide range of service staff at all levels, including conducting stakeholder workshops.
  • Document current and future state business processes, ensuring alignment between the information requirements and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) specifications.
  • Manage and maintain a repository of information models and reference data in accordance with project documentation management policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and conduct the analysis of existing and future business processes.
  • Lead and conduct needs and gap analysis including provide specialist advice to ensure successful transition from current to future states.
  • Lead and undertake requirements elicitation, documentation and tracking work packages.
  • Analyse current  systems/applications and Information Communication Technology (ICT) portfolio impacts and contribute to the portfolio decision-making.
  • Translate business requirements into functional and information requirements and develop
  • Invitation to Offer (ITO) documentation, ensuring solutions meet client needs and are in accordance with strategic directions.
  • Experience on complex, integrated healthcare applications or systems will be highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated experience performing Business Analysis functions across tertiary hospital facilities will be highly regarded.
  • Experience in developing clinical workflow processes across diverse clinical practices will be highly regarded.
  • HL7 messaging/interfacing knowledge and understanding is highly desirable
