This position plays a key role in building capability in contract and vendor management for the organisational department. As a subject matter expert, will be responsible for the best practice contract management and provides critical advice and support to all contract managers across the Organisation.
Key Accountabilities
  • Providing specialist advice on procurement trends of strategic significance within industry sectors to ensure practical and workable tenders and contracts are developed for all stakeholders and entities.
  • Negotiating contracts of varying values and commercial complexity.
  • Identifying contract management issues and working towards point of resolution.
  • Providing negotiation support to other members of the delivery team.
  • Identify opportunities for contract and service growth.
  • Develop long term and collaborative relationship with clients.
  • Develop strong relationships with existing and new suppliers.
Experience Required
  • Minimum 5 years contract management and procurement experience
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
