Your brand new role will see you handle the development / implementation of new products, systems and projects (in Java scripting, Visual Basic, .Net and C#) to provide best practice functionality to customers and improve processing for improved Quality, Security and Efficiency for the organisation. 

This will also include Configurations / Support to Personalisation Systems, Data Systems and developing production tools to facilitate process automation, data processing and ad-hoc customer requirements in order to support daily activities.

Key accountabilties
  • Analyse and implement system related Change Requests as requested by customers to ensure Data Systems and Production Output provide the right products and/or services for our customers
  • Support data activities and different data systems by analysing and troubleshooting problems, optimising performance to benefit customers
  • Develop different tools to assist facilitating process automations
  • Configure different data management systems to support customer changes as requested via BAU change requests and/or Project activities
  • Provide daily support to different data handling, data preparation and data generation systems
  • Provide daily operator/bureau support to different production areas.
Skills and experience
  • Previous experience working as a Systems Engineer supporting in-house systems or production environments 
  • Solid background in in programming languages and scripting (Java scripting, Visual Basic, .Net and C#).
  • Very good understanding of different file/data structures, types and protocols
  • Understanding of cryptography methodology, concepts and tools
  • Understanding of the data handling and data security concept
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Willing to be part of a team - Strong team player
  • Background in banking or card industry highly desired
