This well know industry leader is seeking an experienced Program Manager to scope and lead the planning, options assessment and execution of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) program of work that replaces the entire organisation's end of life Finance, Human Resources and other business systems in line with the organisation's strategy and ICT plan. 
 
The objective of the program will be to modernise the ERP environment with a cloud based SaaS solution. It is proposed that the implementation be conducted in phases over a three to five year period.

Key accountabilities
  • Lead, plan, direct, establish and co-ordinate activities and the teams required to manage and implement an ERP program from conception through to selection, contract negotiation, implementation, operationalisation, benefit realisation and handover to BAU
  • Drive the selection of and establishment of an agreed delivery and quality assurance framework in collaboration with the relevant internal and external delivery partners
  • Ensure alignment and effective working relationships across program streams and engagement with key business resources
  • Manage the program change process and ensure iterations or releases are controlled to optimise cost, timing, business inconvenience, and benefits, and ensure appropriate approval
  • Establish the readiness, objectives, and capability for change in context with inter-dependencies between the program and other business change
Skills and experience
  • Solid Program Management background with large, complex organisations
  • Strong understanding of both Business and IT knowledge areas specifically related to ERP, e.g. Payroll, HR, Finance, Administration services
  • Extensive understanding of complete SaaS ERP solutions Software Lifecycle, i.e. requirements through to implementation (including continuous improvement activities), Project Plans, Project Schedules and associated project materials
  • Demonstrated experience with SaaS ERP implementations across multiple regions
  • Commercial nous combined with business acumen
  • Strong capability to negotiate internally and externally and build effective relationships
