Our client, a well known Melbourne institution, are currently seeking an experienced Project Administrator/ Coordinator for large IT, multi-year program/ projects. Join this established, dynamic and friendly team supporting the Senior Project Manager and wider portfolio.

Key responsibilities
  • Administer project/ program documentation ensuring tracking, status, versions etc.
  • Coordinate workshops, meetings, booking venues, equipment, travel, accommodation, asset management etc.
  • Maintain project schedule/s 
  • Assist in the preparation of meeting agenda, attendees, follow up action items, taking minutes and preparing presentations
  • Assist the Project Manager which may include monitoring risks, issues, project artefacts and ad hock tasks.
  • Contractor on boarding/ off boarding
  • Other ad hoc and administration support as required

Key experience and skills required
  • Previous experience as a Project Administrator/ Officer/ Coordinator or similar in a large complex environment
  • Good understanding of projects across both business and IT
  • Strong experience across project governance such as budgets, financial reporting, risks, issues etc.
  • Advanced MS Word, PowerPoint and outlook skills
  • Scheduling/ MS Project skills an advantage
  • Agile project experience is desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to take initiative
