We are currently looking for a Project and Release Cordinator for a large government organisation. You will join a number of projects over a 12 month period that will be based in-between Brisbane CBD and Fortitude Valley.

The projects:
  • Future Development Services Enablement Project (Planning and Procurement)
  • Future Development Services Enablement Project (Planning and Procurement)
  • Alert System for Developments (Procurement and Delivery)
The role:

Successful delivery of these projects will be dependent on a range of technical, communication and change management activities. The Project Coordinator will assist the Project Manager and the project team(s) in developing, implementing and maintaining project controls as well as writing and managing ICT change and release activities.

 Responsibilities:
  • ICT change coordination and release management. 
  • Produce project documentation and administration.
  • Preparation and drafting of status reports.
  • Weekly reviews of risks and issues.
  • Manage system releases.
  • Prepare release management plans.
  • Ensure strong project controls are in place.  
  • Ensure reporting dates and equirements are met.
  • Procurement related activites.
  • Secretariat for project meetings and workshops.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years' experience working within ICT project delivery.
  • Excellent knowledge of Visio, Excel and Word, MS Project Office.
  • Strong working knowledge of ITIL based Change and Release Management processes.
  • Strong experience with financial systems, budgets and reporting.
  • Experience in maintaining project documentation and records.
  • Excellent communication with proven written and oral skills.
  • Experience in team environment and strong relationship management skills.
  • Time management and self-motivation are important.
  • Ability to work autonomously in the Project Control space.
