Our client is one of Australia's largest wealth management organisations with a focus on people before profits. They are currently looking for a Project Manager to run the implementation of an Investment Data Management system. You will be responsible for the day to day management of scope, quality, time, risks and issues across a stream of work.

Within this role, your responsibilities will include:
  • Defining project stream scope including outputs and outcomes that support program objectives
  • Collaborating with relevant stakeholders to identify and define success criteria and communicate them to project stakeholders and other interested parties
  • Developing, documenting and maintaining project plan and schedule that defines the project phases, key activities, timeframes and roles and responsibilities.
  • Liaising with project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to ensure they are engaged, that their input are being sought and their expectations are being managed.
  • Ensure that there is an open dialogue for stakeholders to raise issues and concerns.
  • Identifying and escalating project risks, and co-ordinate the development and implementation of effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Working with the project team to define and request changes to project scope.
  • Contributing to dashboard reporting for management to keep them informed on project progress, project scope changes, key risks and issues etc.
To be successful in this role you will require experience with the following:
  • 3 years' experience or more as a Project Manager across data management implementation
  • 8 years' experience or more in Project Management
  • Previous experience within the investment management or financial services industry.
  • Project management experience in investment data management and implementing data warehouse functionality highly regarded.
  • Project management qualifications and certifications (PMP, Prince2).
  • Ability to engage with various seniority of stakeholders to effectively scope/plan strategic projects and ensure clarity of scope, approach, key activities, milestones and deliverable. As well as managing any issues and conflicts that may arise, managing expectations and keeping them informed and engaged throughout the project.
  • Strong leadership abilities to lead and manage the project team through the life-cycle of the project in accordance with the project plan.
