Our client is a market leader and is looking for a Project Manager with transition, network implementation and service management experience to join their team.
Working within a high profile division of this large scale mining company the successful Project Manager will act as a single internal point of contact for the delivery across multiple project streams. To become a part of this dynamic team, the Projects Professional will have to demonstrate a collaborative approach, with the ability to communicate any changes across the business. With extensive mining experience, specifically in the infrastructure / networking field you will be required to:
  • Plan, document, manage and execute the delivery of the assigned project stream
  • Coordinate and manage company and third party vendors to ensure delivery of their scope into the project stream ensuring the successful and timely delivery of project stream
  • Ensure company internal processes and standards are followed
  • Oversee, quality check  and report on third party delivery
  • Have strong vendor /stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent written and communication skills are essential
Specifically you will be required to:
  • Oversee, facilitate and communicate the implementation of any Network stream changes/releases
  • Develop internal plans and schedules to deliver internal dependencies into the Core Network Services programme
  • Ensure agreed delivery dates are established and met
  • Provide regular internal Status Reports and Stakeholder communications
  • Provide internal Project Management, including management of internal stakeholders, resources, risks, issues and financials
Applicants with strong Vendor management skills will be highly regarded as will those with strong communication skills and commercial experience in the successful delivery of infrastructure projects (Networks) in the resources sector.
