Multiple Project Managers are required to support a large 35 mil Information Management Program. This is an extremely critical and important program for our client, a large government organisation, and the program will be expected to run for about 3 years. 

Key requirements/skills for all PM roles:
  • Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects within the information technology department.
  • Oversees all aspects of projects.
  • Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project.
  • Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects.
  • Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project.
  • May require a bachelor's degree and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Leads and directs the work of others.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. 

Key areas to manage:
  • 1xPM to manage Records roll out so an understanding of Record Management systems ( they use Trim) also sharepoint and an understanding of " as a service' . A people person who can work closely with Stakeholders and have the ability to manage change that impact what people do in their everyday roles. 
  • 1xPM to work with the legacy systems put together a strategy of what to do and look at Policies and procedures for system transfers. Strong analytical and reporting skills and ability to work closely with senior academics. 
  •  1xPM To work on a federated platform - this covers linking existing customer information ( DW / SAP )  for analytical reporting. So a background in BI is the focus and a strong background with large implementations. 

The projects will require strong stakeholder engagement skills to interact with senior subject matter experts in order to create, publish, automate, review and improve reporting products and processes. 

Experience in NSW public sector is highly desirable but not mandatory.
