About our client:
Our client is a key government agency in a large portfolio designed to bring together Australia's law enforcement, national and transport security and multicultural affairs. Working with our client, you will have the opportunity to work on large-scale, complex projects that aim to support the efficient running of the department and impact to a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

About the Role:
As the Project Officer you will be responsible for monitoring the delivery of the data centre migration, coordinate departmental activities and monitor the progress of migration activities to ensure successful delivery of the project. You will also contribute to project status reporting, work collaboratively with departmental stakeholders to enable successful delivery of the project and manage the progress of technical design documents through the development, review and approval phases of the Department's review processes.

Skills and Experience:
  • Demonstrated experience as a Project Officer
  • Experience with data centre infrastructure technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience with planning and management of data centre infrastructure moves.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering results and driving business change around major data centre and/or gateway migrations.
  • Proven experience delivering outcomes by working with stakeholders and service providers
  • Understanding of migrating applications and infrastructure
