This leader in higher education is currently seeking an experienced Project / Program Administrator to accept and drive a wide range of administrative tasks on behalf of the project leadership team, and the wider project team.

To be successful in this role you will be a highly self-motivated and capable professional, capable of independently managing your workload, and prioritising tasks in a complex project environment.

Key accountabilities
  • Coordination and organisation of meetings and workshops involving multiple internal or external parties on behalf of team including diary alignment and arranging facilities
  • Team administration including organising team meetings and associated functions
  • Ensuring office facilities requirements are prepared, including arranging technology and other resources
  • Taking effective formal minutes and action items for meetings and ensure timely turnaround for review and distribution
  • Administer and organise project documents to ensure tracking, status, and versions
  • Administrative aspects of project financials including raising purchase orders and dealing with invoices
Skills and experience
  • Considerable experience in providing an advanced level of administrative support at the Director / Senior Manager / Executive level, in comparable large-scale enterprises
  • Demonstrable experience as an administrator in a project based environment, ideally a business/IT project
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to develop relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Demonstrable understanding of project controls including budgets, forecasts, risks, issues; familiarity with the reporting of these controls, including familiarity with governance reporting and steering committee meetings
