This well established integrator focused on the IT/OT convergance space is looking to add an expereinced manager to their leadership team. The business adds real value to Tier 1 clients across the mining, utilities and engineering sectors, helping managers get more from their data, make better decisions and improve efficiencies. The time has come to bolster operational capability and an experienced regional manager will help build sales further, grow the team and guide the development of new products and services. 


What you'll be focusing on in the first 12 months: 


Lead Business Development and Sales Opportunities. This means working with existing staff and clients to better understand the real business challenges and formulate soltuions. You'll have plenty of technical support and your demonstrate ability to consult with business leaders and engage will make the difference. Sales matter of course but so does profitability. You'll be capable of working closley with internal staff and clients to develop solutions that support the business 

Manage Client and Partner Relationships. With strong clients already in place you'll engage to understand where the busines may be able further support. Partnerships across the industry may prove a key growth opportunity so you'll be able to demonstrate where you've successfully developed those before in your previous roles.


Lead Delivery of Projects. With a strong background and understanding of project metrics and controls, your ability to manage project staff will be important. You'll often work with clients and manage that relationship alongside regional account managers. 

Manage the Team. Day to day operational respoinsibility for managing the software engineer team and project staff. Here you'll be able to show where you've effectively grown a team previoulsy, identified talent and developed techncial staff.


Your expereince:

Previous experience as a team leader developing/implementing Real Time Asset, Operations, Integration and / or Analytical Solutions using Enterprise data 
You'll be able to demonstrate where you've successfully delivered aspects of management such as:                       

                    Building Successful Business Relationships
                    Leading Bids and Proposal Submissions
                    Managing Project Execution
                    Searching and Securing the Best Talent
                    Managing / Administering a Business Profit Centre
                    Implementing / Developing Business Strategy and Innovation


Your Background: 

Ideally candidates will have 10 years or more experience within a systems integrator, consultancy, software vendor or within industry (such as oil & gas, power, water, mining or manufacturing)

Aspects of your industry experience or exposure may incluide;

Business Systems Integration - with ERP/LIMS/CMMS etc.
Manufacturing Execution / Plant Information Systems
Data Management and Governance
Process Data Historians - OSISoft PI Systems or similar
Hierarchical Data Models and Templates
Data Warehousing
Data Visualisation
Process Control Systems - DCS and/or SCADA/PLC
Reporting
