About the role
The Regional Project Manager (VIC/SA/WA) is a key member of the organization's Construction leadership team. This newly created role combines responsibility for the management of Project Managers as well as hands-on project management of a number of key FTTP sites across our apartment and broad-acre projects in Victoria, South Australia, and Western Australia

  •  Ensure all construction projects are delivered efficiently - on time and on budget
  • Proactively supervise and support the Southern Region project management team to ensure first-class client service and delivery is maintained
  • Directly project manage the deployment and rollout of FTTP infrastructure in the selected key of the organization's sites within the Southern region
  • Ensure accurate forecast information for the region through proactive maintenance of key milestone dates and outcomes in the project management software
  • Ensure appropriate Q&A of construction works undertaken by subcontractors
  • Ensure health and safety processes are followed by all subcontractors and tech staff
  • Provide regular reporting to management of the construction activities in the region
Skills and Experience
  • It is preferred the employee has a minimum 10 years' experience working within the telecommunications construction industry in a project management role.
  • Formal qualifications in project management will be beneficial.
  • Previous roles with demonstrated staff management will be beneficial
  • Familiar with health, safety, and environmental requirements relevant to the project works.
  • Construction White Card.
  • Valid Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle. A car allowance will be paid.
  • Occasional interstate travel and available for after hours work when required.
