The Opportunity:
In this mid-level B2B sales position, you are responsible for cross selling research services into existing accounts. There will also be an opportunity to develop new business on cold accounts but a majority of your leads will come from the software arm of the business which has already successfully sold the experience management platform into the account. The ideal candidate will be highly organised and efficient as the role is autonomous and you will enjoy a component of market research and reporting to boost your success with customer care and the provision of a quality solution based service.

They are a rapidly growing software and research services vendor that focus on helping organisations gain insights around their market, customers, and employees. This enables them to make data-driven decisions bases on real time insights. They sell their solution on a subscription basis to a range of industries from SMB all the way to Enterprise.

To be considered for this position you will need:
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree with a research component and strong academic performance.
  • 2 years B2B sales experience
  • Full Australian working rights - no option for 457 sponsorship.
  • Experience in Market Research, Psychological Research, Research Methodology, Statistical Analyses, etc.
  • Drive and ambition to succeed in a highly competitive industry.
  • You are motivated by money, growth and promotion.
  • Persistence and resilience, rejection doesn't scare you after all you know that failure represents an opportunity to learn and be successful next time.
  • A natural affinity for dealing with people, in other words you are a people person!

  • Detail oriented with a high standard of excellence demonstrated through your history of being a top performer in a previous company.
A typical day:
  • Acquire new clients, negotiate and cross sell research services to all new, existing and potential clients.
  • Working with clients, colleagues and external partners to deliver a customer experience second to none on every project.
  • Responsible for quality responses/sample for research clientele.
  • Updating Salesforce with quality information from your market research and customer engagements.
  • Social selling leveraging social media platforms (i.e. LinkedIn).
Desirable experience:
  • Proficiency in other languages within the APAC region (Mandarin or Japanese of particular interest).
