The Role:

The Retail Network Planner will be responsible for providing analytical insight on key footprint issues, developing a response that meets our Client's customer needs and provides an efficient way of delivering services.

The Responsibilities:
  • Develop a metropolitan geographic catchment model to determine the Retail Distribution and Location Strategy
  • Consideration of immigration and population growth, customer preferences and how this impacts on service offerings
  • Define KPIs for the different retail types to measure the performance and benefits
  • An understanding of the impacts of proposals on customer travel times and journey impacts Forecast of the financial implications of the proposed changes over the next 10 years
The Skills:
  • Strong experience analysing geographic and retail data to allow the business to make informed decisions
  • Superior analytical skills, with the ability to consolidate multiple data sets to establish a coherent evidence base
  • Excellent written, numeric and verbal reasoning and communication skills
  • Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills
  • An understanding of financial and political implications of working in a Government authority.
