Our client is a global SaaS company in the animal health sector. The business is growing through acquisitions and is moving to an amazing new office!
This position is tasked with leading and managing both the Business Development Specialists and Internal Sales Team. You will facilitate and grow sales by increasing market share of various veterinary products and services to new and existing customers.  
Responsibilities include leading the team to achieve budget targets for sales and revenue through strategic business planning, analyzing and reporting sales results, coaching and mentoring team members, and career development of team members.  

  • Build relationships with referenced accounts
  • Utilise resources across the various global markets to ensure market penetration.
  • Plan and implement timely and effective lead generation activities
  • Use of CRM system for lead tracking.
  • Lead and manage the pipeline
  • Work with Provet Distribution BAMs
  • Participate in the development and implementation of Marketing initiatives & lead generation programs 
  • Demonstrate the products face to face to existing or prospective clients as required
  • Monitor team to achieve a high level of accuracy on all customer interactions, including automations, orders, upselling and cross selling on every order to increase both size and value.
  • Keep the sales & automation methodology documentation up to update and ensure that it is being implemented by the team.
  • Recruit, motivate & inspire the team to reach customer satisfaction and productivity targets
  • Manage workload and resources so that departmental cover is maintained.
  • Plan and administer company's sales budget.
  • Manage the preparation and review of sales revenue forecasts. 
  • Provide regular reports on activities and status of the market as required.
  • Manage all aspects of pricing
  • Review and input into sales promotions and offers targeting, legacy and competitor sites
  • Provide competitive reviews of product and sales strategies - identify counter measures
  • Understand and advise the company on the developing trends and need of the market
  • Identify new business opportunities within the Veterinary markets
  • Develop strategies to exploit
  • Implement Market Research as required
  • Build strategic relationships with key influencers, associations, other suppliers and finance companies. 
  • Effectively communicate new release details. What are the features, what are the benefits - why should they and customers care etc
  • Undertake sales training with TSMs on new features 

  • Proven experience with leading and developing teams, together with the ability to withstand a busy and challenging role. To include day to day organisational skills to ensure that team targets are met. 
  • Experience in a leadership role within sales or operational environments
  • Proven track record in developing business sales and sales management (within similar sales environment eg Short sales cycle etc)
  • Experience of a technology/solution sales/customer service environment
  • Proven track record - measurable and visible delivery of revenue
  • Proof of management of difficult/challenging situations
  • Experience of preparing budgets/pipeline/Business Plan documents and forecasts
  • Business planning and strategic development - proven success and emphasis on meeting sales objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership - in particular leading, motivating, coaching and managing team members.
