Description of duties;
  • Receives, screens, classifies and logs requests for SCADA support.  
  • Monitors and reports upon status of all requests.
  • Experience in Remote terminal Unit programming and configuration. 
  • Performs Utility Wide SCADA System administration tasks within delegated and defined authority limits.
  • Assists in developing process solutions for effective resolution of requests
  • Maintains Help System data integrity.
  • Data cleansing, analysis and reporting.
  • Process and general documentation.
  • Service support and follow up.
Skills / experience sought;
  • Ability to prioritise and carry out duties under pressure;
  • Demonstrated conceptual and analytical skills;
  • Sound interpersonal, communication, negotiation and influencing skills;
  • Demonstrated computing skills and knowledge of engineering software applications and Microsoft suite of systems.
  • Commitment to customer service;
  • High level of communication skills;
  • Ability to negotiate and influence outcomes;
  • Ability to work in a team environment and share knowledge
  • Demonstrates the values and behaviours that contribute to an Achievement culture
