Senior Change Manager


A government department is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Change Manager to engage in a contract position based in Canberra. You will assist with defining the change impacts associated with a program to establish a new corporate services operating model that requires the development of new business processes, the  transition of selected functions  to an external supplier and integration with existing Departmental processes and systems.

 
  • Australian citizenship and Baseline clearance required
  • Work for a government department
  • Competitive contract rate based on a full time schedule


Deliverables of the role:
  • Business Impact Assessment of transferring selected corporate functions to an external supplier and the implementation of a new corporate services business architecture.
Oversight, and contribute to the development of, Change Management Plans to support:
 
  • the implementation of revised staff and organisational establishment processes (developed in consultation with the relevant business owners);
  • the relocation of the finance system, introduction of new financial reporting arrangements and revised procurement procedures; and
  • the upgrade of Aurion 10 to Aurion 11
  • Proven experience in assessing the business impacts associated with the transformation of corporate services within an APS environment.
  • Proven experience in the management of change impacts associated with the implementation of new corporate systems and processes.
  • Proven experience in engaging a broad spectrum of corporate system users and business owners in preparing for, and implementing change.
  • Proven experience in leading business owners through the various activities required to deliver specified outcomes associated with the implementation of new processes and systems.
  • Proof that the proposed candidate has a baseline security clearance
