We are seeking a Technical Network Engineer to work with a reputable Entertainment Brand based inner city fringe.

You will be working predominately within a technical Cisco, Juniper and AWS Cloud environment ensuring that performance obligations of systems and infrastructure are met.

Key Role Requirements:
  • Manage and administrate all operating systems and their corresponding or associated software.
  • Support Development staff, Technical and Operations Analysts, and end users to define systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issues.
  • Deploy and maintain firewalls, cryptography systems, and all host security activities.
  • Implement disaster recovery plan for operating systems, databases, networks, servers, and software applications.
  • Analyse day-to-day functions and processes of software and database resources to ensure they are performing within predetermined guidelines, limits, and specifications.
  • Identify and resolve infrastructure and network issues in order to maintain services, enhance capabilities, and prevent system outages.
  • Recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements, upgrades, and/or purchases working with Technical Services Change Management policies and practices. 
Core experience and skill level:
  • Minimum 5-year exposure to Cisco Network solutions
  • Minimum 2-year exposure to Network load balancing technologies
  • Minimum 3-year exposure to Network Security services
  • Minimum 2-year exposure to Network based cloud solutions
  • Strong technical knowledge of network, PC and platform operating systems and associated hardware infrastructure within an Juniper, Cisco, F5, Microsoft Windows and/or UNIX operations environment.
  • Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required.
  • Ability to communicate ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work under pressure in fast paced, dynamic work environment.
