They are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strategic expertise, reliable execution and sound judgement to lead their data warehousing efforts and instrumentation to ensure the team has consistent, reliable access to the inputs they need. This role is highly collaborative - you'll work closely with engineers, data scientists, product leaders, and data stakeholders across the company.

What you'll do

A big part of your job will be to define data concepts, logic and physical characteristics. You will also define, implement, and provide ongoing maintenance for data modelling initiatives.

You will ensure concept of data integrity and that data's strategic value is understood and practiced throughout the organisation. You will also provide guidance on data design and requirements to other development and business teams.

What you'll need
  •  5+ years + hands-on experience building and maintaining data warehouses from scratch
  • Experienced with relational databases and queuing systems (e.g. Hadoop, Solr, Impala, Hive, Spark, Kibana, Elastic Search)
