Our Client:

Our client is a rapidly growing American software company with a mission to make businesses more productive, competitive and powerful through enabling collaboration and access to their most important information. They have recently invested in their expansion into the APJ market - using Sydney as a base to expand from they have grown from 5-12 heads locally since May this year with a view to double this number again before the end of 2018! Globally, the business employs over 1500 people and have enjoyed consistent revenue growth over the past few years with quarterly revenue up 20% YoY in May 2018.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and help generate leads for the existing field sales team. You ideally come equipped with previous experience managing the top end of the sales funnel, prospecting and qualifying opportunities before handing leads off to the relevant Account Executive. You will also work closely with Marketing as an added resource to qualify inbound opportunities too. You will be measured by the number of qualified leads and appointments set for the field sales team and eligible to participate in a lucrative commission plan directly tied to your output.

  • Achieve/exceed monthly quotas of qualified opportunities and appointment bookings
  • Conduct high-level conversations with senior stakeholders in target/prospect accounts
  • Collaborate with sales management and field sales team to develop targeted lists, call strategies and messaging to drive opportunities for new business
  • Research and build new and existing accounts (i.e. adding contacts, sending regular emails, coordinating strategic discovery meetings)
  • Cold calling key decision makers in target/prospect accounts to ultimately generate interest in the platform
  • Follow up on leads from marketing initiatives (EDMs, Marketing Evens, SEO/SEM campaigns, etc.)

  • Full Australian working rights - unfortunately, sponsorship is not an option at this point in time
  • Proven successful outbound prospecting experience required
  • CRM experience - preferably with SFDC
  • SaaS experience is a plus but not required
  • Impeccable written/verbal communication skills
  • Proven problem-solving ability
  • High level of motivation and drive - you are known to be a self-starter and bring a positive attitude to work with you
  • Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment - you have excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Tertiary qualifications are desirable but industry experience will be considered for the right candidate
