A private organisation is seeking to engage a Service Architect to be responsible for the service offerings and service design and implementation for customers. The Service Architect will ensure that customers receive service design and service management processes that are designed collaboratively to meet their requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading the tender process, including Scope of Work determination, service pricing, analysis of RFPs or RFIs, bid/no bid reviews etc.
  • Development of Service Models; developing and customising services solutions to meet needs, delivery and commercial standards
  • Assist with risk mitigation by developing an understanding cost drivers within a service
  • Providing sales support to meet specified financial targets
  • Support development of transition-in plans, coordinate due diligence investigations, ensuring understanding of requirements
  • Establishing strong relationships with client stakeholders, planning, coordinating and facilitating engagement sessions
  • Build strong vendor relationships ensuring understanding of vendor products and services and identify new relationships

Key Skills & Experience:
  • Ability to understand all elements within a particular service, including people and system components
  • Ability to construct system and/or business processes using Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN) or Universal Modelling Language (UML)
  • Experience with TOGAF or Zimmerman Enterprise Architecture
  • Experience with simulation and modelling toolsets
  • Experience in organisational change and operational design, with the creation of multiple KPIs, service levels and operating level agreements
  • Ability to communicate with influence to business stakeholders and communicate business problems to technical staff
  • Knowledge of ITIL v3
  • Service Design/Architecture experience
  • Service implementation background
  • Service Management tool design and specification experience
