Service Centre Analyst required to join a government agency on a contract on an initial 6-month contract. As a member of the Service Centre, participate in tasks within a client-focused team providing implementation and support services for business and information technology systems.
The Role
  • provide operational advice on IT related business support issues;
  • answer telephone calls on a roster system between 8:00am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday and be available to perform extra duty outside of normal work hours;
  • support the administration of user provisioning activities in Active Directory and Microsoft Outlook. Includes management of mailboxes and distribution lists;
  • assist in the management of the clients desktop services, with an emphasis on provision of a customer-oriented Service Centre Support service for all computer hardware and software;
  • assist in the delivery of stable and efficient remote access and network print systems;
  • provide assistance in controlling movement & documentation of assets, technical documentation, customer support manuals, and incidents and their resolution; and
  • provide input into implementation of minor projects.
  • be available for all FWOW after hours work including PC relocations
The Successful candidate will have:
  • Installation, configuration, testing and ongoing support of networked desktop hardware and software. 
  • Demonstrated experience in a service centre. 
  • Support the administration of user provisioning activities in Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange and Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop. 
Desirable Criteria:
  • Experience in providing AV and VC Support
  • ITIL V3 Certification
  • Experience with Cisco Jabber
  • Understanding of ISO:9001 document control processes
