This boutique organisation requires a Senior Service Desk Consultant to provide 2nd level helpdesk support to a range of clients and staff. This is a 6-week contract located in the South Eastern Suburbs.
Key responsibilities of your new role include:
  • Ensure Service Desk maintains a high standard of customer service in a high volume environment
  • Provide 2nd level support including initial diagnosis and resolution of service calls
  • Follow all specific procedures as outlined by Team Leader
  • Administer routine administration functions and provide reporting as required
  • Remain technically proficient across range of changing technologies
  • Identifying and utilising internal sources to assist in the resolution of logged issues
  • Provide technical advisory service to internal clients/staff
 To be successful in this role you will possess the following skills and experience:
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a Service Desk role, with strong customer service focus
  • Terminal Server experience
  • Exposure to DNS/DHCP, Powershell scripting would be advantageous
  • PABX experience will be highly regarded
  • Experience working effectively in a busy ITIL environment
  • Passion for technology
  • Ability to operate in a rapidly changing environment
  • Self motivated, driven and positive attitude
  • Experience in rostered support
  • Outstanding communication skills required
