Our client is a high profile not for profit organisation with locations throughout Australia. They currently need the assistance of an enthusiastic IT Service Desk Support person to join their small IT team based in Mt Waverley. This role is essential to the support of their internal POS, Card and internal IT systems. You will provide Level 1 support via telephone and online / remotely to the stakeholders. 

This position will suit someone who is looking to work for a not for profit and understands the values and culture of such charity organisations. There may be travel to some client sites (in a company car) thus you will need a current drivers licence. 

To apply for this role you will need the following skills and experience to be considered:
  • Experience in a Level 1 Service Desk position and happy to continue in this role is essential
  • Experience in a Customer Service position is essential
  • A current drivers licence is essential
  • Experience being able to speak in plain terms to explain technical IT issues to non technical staff
  • Experience with retail software, networks and Visual Basic programming would be highly desirable and preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Living around the Eastern Suburbs would be beneficial
