Talent International is currently looking for a SharePoint Developer for a large government department based in Herston, Brisbane. The department is currently undertaking a financial system renewal (FSR) project with the primary aim to enable an integrated and innovative new finance system. 

The departments current SharePoint site was designed for the current business requirements of the FSR project, however due to changes to the governance structure; they will require a new project site.

Role details
  • There are currently workspaces for the SME Forum (which will remain untouched) The FSR team site will be moved to a new project site and the board site will be moved to make it a sub site of the FSR team site.
  • There should be tight access controls to the groups, i.e. only nominated members should be able to access the content of the FSR team site. General access (for registered users) to the Stakeholder Network is permitted
  • The FSR team site and the board site are to remain as they are and moved to a new project site with the board site becoming a sub site of the FSR team site.
  • Additional groups will be formed as part of the FSR team site; therefore there must be capacity to add extra groups as necessary.
  • No sensitive information is being held on this site, but there must be confidence in the security of the site.
  • Each workspace must be linked to Google Analytics (or similar) in order to monitor the use of each page.
  • Over the duration of the project, there is expected to be a dramatic increase in users of the site, there are currently approximately 150 users, but this is expected to increase to approximately 1000.
  • A number of super-users (who have administration access) must be incorporated to ensure succession planning.
  • Clear documentation of 'how to' guides and training to super-users is a requirement of the successful candidate.
Requirements: 
  • 3 + years experience as a SharePoint developer.
  • Microsoft SharePoint 2016 (Cloud) is currently being used by the Project;ideally the contractor will have sound experience in working with this version (desireable)
