The Client and Role:
Our client is a truly one of the global leaders within the resources sector! They are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Site Supervisor for a variety of up and coming project work.
The key objective of the position is to manage contractors on site, communicate on all levels with the Project Managers to ensure delivery of excellence in the best interest of the business.
Responsibilities will include effective communication with Project Managers or delegates.
Essential Skills Required:
  • Manage contractors on site to represent to ensure the best outcome for the business
  • Ensure projects are carried out safely and to ensure that project scopes of work and schedules are met
  • Manage any variations to project costs by communicating and confirming variations with the project manager
  • Assist with the co-ordination of resource scheduling including requests outside of scheduling meeting timeframes
  • Proven ability to follow formal project delivery methodologies is desirable
  • Demonstrated strong problem solving skills and excellent communication skills
  • Assist in the development and document control of Risk Management processes and documentation
  • Assist with contractor mobilisations in line with documented procedures
  • Experience with SAP and compliance awareness is highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities include:
  • Coordination and involvement in project risk assessments
  • Demonstrated improvement in contractor pre mobilisation processes
  • Monthly reporting on Contractor Headcount and hours of exposure.
  • Safe and successful completion of all projects
  • Consistency in how we deliver our infrastructure projects
  • Contractor Management Awareness
  • SAP experience
  • Prior experience in a similar role would be highly regarded.
  • Communications or technical background would be advantageous
  • Risk Management Workshop Facilitation Training or Incident investigation training would be advantageous
