As a Solutions Specialist, you will be applying business analysis and solution design activities to deliver on IT System initiatives within the IT Solutions - Customer & Supply Chain space.

Core responsibilities:
  • Support and manage the solutions analysis approach during the bid response initiation stage, provide input and elicit the customer requirements for the opportunity. Identify the key customer benefits and strategic needs associated with the project and determine the likely operational solution
  • Develop and document the customer requirements and translate these into functional and non-functional requirements, business process and data flows; including data modelling, workflow context and design, business architecture mapping and customer experience mapping, business concept documents and use cases.
  • Manage the IT solution throughout the bid process and provide Sales and Operational consultancy support
  • Proactively seek and identify system enhancements of existing systems or new ones which will positively contribute to revenue or reduced costs to the business and ultimately build the ability to respond to customer needs.
  • Verification and validation of all customer requirements including new system functionality 
  • Delivery of all bid responses on time. 
  • Articulate customer requirements against the cost-benefit analysis and overall cost model 
  • Collaborate with SME's, Sales and Operational stakeholders, cross functional teams to take the project from ideation through to submission to the customer. 
  • Analysis of process and technology requirements in the following areas:
o   Warehouse and Transport Management, including Freight Forwarding
o   Integration and B2B 
o   Online and Digital
o   Dashboards and Analytics
  • Required skills and experience to perform successfully:5+ years' experience working as a business analyst in a Transportation and Logistics environment
  • SME expertise in IT Solutions within the Customer & Supply Chain space
  • Bid Management & Pre-Sales 
  • Experience within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Project Lifecycle.
  • Experience in either tier 1 WMS or tier 1 TMS solutions
  • Experience in taking an idea and defining and developing it until the business case is signed off.
  • Experience presenting solutions to customers or senior business stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience with techniques such as use case analysis, data/process flow diagramming, process mapping and detailed business and functional requirements documentation.
  • Ability to translate abstract information into high-quality business requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
