Are you a Sourcing Specialist with commercial experience managing vendors and their contracts? Our industry leading client requires a 'champion of change' with circa 5+ years Procurement / Vendor Management experience. With the implementation of new, improved procurement and contractor engagement systems, our client requires a forward-thinking Sourcing Specialist ideally with resources sector experience to join their team on an initial 8-month contract.

Applicants who are equally confident in their communication skills as with their people and negotiation skills will be highly regarded. Duties of this sought after role include (but are not limited) to:
  • Developing sourcing strategies for uncontracted services spend. 
  • Collaborating with key business stakeholders to execute the project strategy. 
  • Conducting supplier performance analysis. 
  • Working closely with other Procurement Specialists regionally and globally in order to align the project requirements with BAU activity. 
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have: 
  • Strong end to end sourcing expertise. 
  • Demonstrated experience in contract interpretation, drafting contracts and vendor management.
  • Expert influencing, stakeholder engagement and change management capability. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • A basic understanding of project management concepts. 
  • Degree qualified with good commercial and technical understanding in procurement. 
  • Ability to hold negotiation and change discussions
  • Resources sector experience will be highly regarded
