Position Overview

I am looking for experience System Administrator with proven experience in windows desktop administration in a large complex environment.
This position is heavily involved in the ongoing 3rd level BAU support, of all Windows 7, 8 and 10 desktop operating systems.
Ability to quickly troubleshoot and resolve Windows based technical issues both independently and within a collaborative virtual team approach. Having an in-depth knowledge of desktop Group Policy management, solid operational understanding of Configuration Manager Application deployment and a commitment to quality customer service will also be considered as a clear advantage for this position.
 
Technical Skills
 
  • Extensive technical administration experience in Windows Desktop 7, 8 and 10 troubleshooting principals.
  • Proven technical experience in desktop Group Policy management, configuration deployment and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work within a team, understand the technical and business objectives and lead a team to provide a successful solution outcome.
  • Strong knowledge in writing and using Windows scripting technologies in a desktop administrator environment eg. VBScript, PowerShell, WMI.
  • Demonstrated operational ability to incorporate applications to the Configuration Manager 2012 environment, creating collections and release applications and troubleshooting complex issues.
  • Demonstrated operational knowledge of supporting Operating System Deployment (OSD) issues within Configuration Manager current branch. Understanding task sequencing, PXE image deployments and troubleshooting issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver outcomes on time and to an agreed schedule utilizing a virtual or physical team structure.
  • High level communication and documentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of key ITIL frameworks particularly change and incident management.
