Our client is searching for a highly skilled and experienced individual to engage in contract OR permanent position based in Canberra as a System Integration Engineer. Your purpose in this position would be to configure and develop systems to support implementations and subsequent process optimization efforts to support DevOps for products.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and Build solutions composed primarily of Oracle COTS products within a Wintel and Linux Environment.
  • Configuration and deployment of individual Oracle and Microsoft products
  • Development of custom configurations for the components and suites to allow the systems to meet performance and functional specifications
  • Component testing of the modules against the test plan, use cases and functional specifications.
  • Diagnose problems and implement corrective action vendor support escalation and management

Skills and Experience:
  • Demonstrated experience in administering Oracle Fusion Middleware (OFM) software
  • Experience working with Oracle WebLogic, Web Content and Database
  • Demonstrated experience with AWS is essential
  • Experience in Oracle Security suite (OAM, OIM, OVD, OID, etc.) 
  • Experience implementing automation for common system tasks using scripting languages such as Chef, Vagrant, and Bash Script.
  • Understanding of VM's, Router, Load Balancers, cluster, security, monitoring, Nagios, reading logs and containers (Docker)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD using Jenkins, Maven, Bitbucket, Artifactory or other tools.
  • Knowledge of Content Management Solutions.
  • Basic OS configuration and management skills (Windows and Unix).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
